Promotional Pens for Architects - Experience Stories

Posted: November 21, 2011 -

Look at any well-made building and you can credit the architect for building and designing it well. Watch a building fall to pieces and you can also discredit an architect for a poorly done job. That's the stress that I face as an architect, especially when I'm only as good as my last project. It can be difficult to convince people to hire me, and it's not just because there are so many other architects competing for the same job. It's because they need to know that I can deal with the stress of the job and the pressure that comes with combining beauty and public safety.

So what did I do? I had promotional pens produced with my name and contact information, as well as a quick sketch of the last building that I worked on. I want to remind my clients that I'm not just a guy with a name and college degree: I have experience, and I've worked on projects. I also decided to change my sketch every year, whether it was the courthouse I helped to restore, or the new, swanky building downtown that I designed for a firm that wanted a modern look.

Promotional pens shouldn't be taken lightly. Your promo pen tells your clients who you are and what you do, and it reminds them that you are a professional. When a promo pen is well made, it can really promote you as an expert, not just someone handing out pens in empty promotion. My clients loved my pens, too: the pens were artistic, and yet they didn't take away from my identity as a professional.

Whether you want artistic or formal pens, consult www.thepenguy.com for offerings. You'll find different kinds of pens in different colors, all of which you can design for your special needs.
